Job summary

Murchison & Cumming, LLP seeks an experienced Senior Litigation Paralegal to join our Los Angeles or Irvine team. You will support attorneys through all phases of defense litigation, from discovery to trial, manage records, deadlines, and trial materials, and work closely with litigators to ensure timely, precise case preparation.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of defense litigation experience, an ABA-approved Paralegal Certificate, and strong organizational and written communication skills;

Qualifications

• 10+ years of defense litigation experience.
• Excellent organizational, research, and writing skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support attorneys through all phases of litigation, from discovery through trial.
• Draft discovery requests, responses, objections, and meet-and-confer letters.
• Manage documents, discovery materials, and privilege logs.
• Prepare chronology and deposition summaries; assist with trial preparation.
• Organize case files, exhibits, and trial notebooks.
• Attend hearings and trials as needed; provide on-call support as required.
• Track internal and external deadlines and ensure timely compliance.
• Collaborate with team to ensure efficient case management.
• Perform other duties consistent with the role and responsibilities.
