R.L. Barclay & Associates, Houston-based recruiting firm, is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to support a busy commercial litigation practice.

The role involves discovery, eDiscovery, deadlines, and trial prep in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in litigation paralegal work, strong drafting and organizational skills, and proficiency with Relativity, Disco, iManage, and MS 365.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of litigation paralegal experience required; commercial litigation experience strongly preferred.
• Bachelor's degree strongly preferred; a combination of education and relevant experience will be considered.
• Proficient with local, state, and federal court filing rules and procedures.
• Hands-on experience with eDiscovery platforms (Relativity, Disco, or similar).
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft 365 and Adobe Acrobat.
• Experience with document management systems; familiarity with iManage a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; detail-oriented and highly organized.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys with all phases of discovery and manage document productions.
• Work with eDiscovery platforms to organize, review, and produce documents.
• Maintain and monitor case deadlines and docket entries for active commercial litigation.
• Coordinate extensively with testifying and consulting experts, including scheduling and document exchange.
• Support trial preparation and attend trials as needed.
• Communicate professionally with clients, co-counsel, and opposing counsel on case-related matters.
