Job summary

King & Spalding LLP in Dallas seeks a Business Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys on complex matters from discovery through trial. Under supervision, you will manage documents, assist with e-discovery, and prepare for depositions and hearings.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree and at least five years of paralegal experience, strong organization, detail orientation, and proficiency with Relativity, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Acrobat. Overtime and weekend hours may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum 5 years paralegal experience.
• Strong organization and communication skills.
• Familiarity with litigation process: discovery, filings, cite checking.
• Experience in trials/arbitrations preferred.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat.
• Ability to work independently and under deadlines.
• Willingness to overtime, including some weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Complete understanding of the litigation process, from discovery through trial.
• Assist with electronic document productions using database management software.
• Review documents for responsiveness and privilege; identify issues.
• Manage documents, exhibits, and spreadsheets for trials/arbitrations.
• Use litigation software such as Relativity.
• Multitask across multiple matters and attorneys.
• Interact with attorneys, staff, and clients professionally.
• Assist in deposition/interview/hearing prep and case prep.
• Maintain confidentiality of client matters.
• Provide general support across offices and practice groups.
