Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ years’ litigation paralegal experience.
• Knowledge of state and federal civil procedure, and the law of assigned specialized practice area.
• Strong cite-checking, proofreading, and Bluebooking skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate deposition and argument logistics.
• Prepare witness files and exhibits to be used at deposition.
• Attend deposition with attorney to take notes, handle exhibits, and summarize transcripts.
• Organize and track argument preparation materials.
• Assist in the courtroom.
• Draft certain motions and pleadings; proofread briefs and motions; ensure proper citations.
• Coordinate service of process and filings; prepare properly formatted templates.
