Job summary

Verital Advisory Search is partnering with a nationally recognized law firm to hire a Senior Litigation Paralegal for its San Francisco hybrid office. This high‑visibility role supports partners and associates on complex commercial litigation from initial pleadings through trial and appeal.

You will manage case files and calendars, draft pleadings and discovery, coordinate with e‑discovery vendors, and prepare materials for depositions and trial.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of litigation paralegal experience at a large firm.
• Strong knowledge of California CCP and Federal Rules of Civil Procedure.
• Hands-on trial experience.
• Experience with Relativity, CompuLaw, and Westlaw/Lexis.

Responsibilities

• Manage case files and calendars across multiple matters.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, subpoenas, and correspondence.
• Lead document productions and coordinate with e-discovery vendors and litigation support teams.
• Prepare deposition, hearing, and trial materials, including exhibit lists and witness binders.
• Provide on‑site trial support and manage logistics for trial teams.
• Handle e‑filing and service in CA state and federal courts (N.D. Cal., C.D. Cal.).
• Mentor junior paralegals and help standardize case management workflows.
