Job summary

Career Group seeks a Litigation Paralegal for a prestigious law firm in Los Angeles. You will support attorneys across all phases of complex litigation, including court filings, discovery, document and case management, and trial preparation.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years of litigation experience, strong communication and organizational skills, and the ability to handle complex projects with limited supervision.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in a paralegal role or similar position.
• Experience with Federal and State court rules and e-filing.
• Experience on government investigations including SEC/DOJ.
• Advanced Excel and navigation of electronic databases.
• Experience with Relativity and discovery applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead and assist with preparation and filing of federal and state pleadings.
• Support discovery, document review, production and depositions.
• Assist with interviews, depositions, hearings and trials.
• Review motions and briefs, proofreading and cite-checking.
• Coordinate large, confidential and complex filings.
• Arrange deadlines, filings and distribution of case filings.
• Search and pull documents in Relativity databases.
• Prepare privilege and redaction logs.
• Manage deadlines and prioritize tasks across matters.
• Support data management and analysis on complex projects.
• Maintain organized client files and case management systems.
• Conduct non-legal research using various legal databases.
