Job summary

Permanent Placements LLC is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal in Los Angeles, CA for a hybrid position with an Am Law firm. The candidate will support complex litigation from inception through post-trial proceedings, managing documents, discovery, and trial preparation.

Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree and a paralegal credential, with substantial experience in litigation, document management, and legal research using Relativity, Westlaw, and Lexis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Paralegal Certificate from an accredited institution preferred.
• Equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
• Certified Paralegal credential is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support attorneys throughout all phases of litigation, from case initiation through post-trial proceedings and appeals.
• Organize, maintain, and manage case files, documents, databases, exhibits, and other litigation materials.
• Coordinate and assist with discovery, including drafting and responding to written discovery, managing document collections, and assisting with depositions.
• Conduct and oversee document reviews and productions using litigation support platforms.
• Track document review progress, prepare reporting metrics, and manage production workflows.
• Review, analyze, summarize and organize case documents, deposition/transcripts, court transcripts, and witness interviews.
• Prepare witness interview memoranda and substantive case summaries.
• Conduct legal and factual research using Westlaw, Lexis, and other research tools.
• Assist with law and motion practice, including pleadings, motions, and service of process.
