Job summary

AMS Staffing, Inc. seeks a highly experienced Litigation Paralegal to support trial attorneys in managing a high-volume docket in Dallas.

The role requires a proactive, detail-oriented professional with deep knowledge of state and federal procedures, discovery protocols under TRCP, and the ability to manage deadlines in a high-pressure environment. Responsibilities include drafting shell discovery responses, preparing hearing notebooks, calendaring deadlines, e-filing in state and federal courts

Qualifications

• Six years of litigation paralegal experience in a law firm.
• Deep knowledge of TRCP and applicable federal rules.
• Proficiency in MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, Westlaw, PACER/ECF, and E-File Texas.
• Familiarity with Trial Director and e-discovery platforms (preferred).
• Strong research and deadline management in high-pressure environments.

Responsibilities

• Draft and format shell discovery responses, correspondence, and pleading shells
• Prepare hearing and trial notebooks
• Manage and maintain calendaring of court deadlines, hearings, and discovery obligations
• E-file documents in state and federal courts using E-File Texas and PACER/ECF
• Conduct cite checking and Bluebooking
• Assist with trial preparation and provide hot seat trial support
• Coordinate with attorneys and vendors regarding e-discovery and trial exhibits
• Perform internet and legal research using Westlaw and other platforms
