Our client, a well established mid sized Dallas law firm, is adding a Litigation Paralegal to support continued growth following the addition of multiple attorneys. This is a direct hire opportunity.

Litigation Paralegal Role
- Support 2 partners and 1 to 2 associates handling commercial litigation matters
- Provide litigation support from case intake through trial
- Assist with coverage during a teammate's maternity leave while assuming a permanent long term position with assigned attorneys
- Scan and organize documents within the firm's document management system
- Manage attorney calendars and litigation deadlines
- Prepare attorneys for depositions, hearings, mediations, and trial
- Prepare and file documents in both Texas State and Federal Courts
- Communicate with courts, clients, opposing counsel, and vendors
- Conduct case law and factual research
- Draft pleadings, correspondence, discovery, and other legal documents for attorney review
- Coordinate with eDiscovery vendors to build and maintain case databases
- Organize and maintain case files and litigation materials
- Schedule depositions, meetings, appointments, and court proceedings
- Perform general litigation support including scanning, copying, mailing, and document production
Litigation Paralegal Background Profile
- 4+ years of litigation paralegal experience in a law firm environment (6+ years preferred)
- Strong experience handling litigation matters from intake through trial
- Current Texas litigation experience with working knowledge of the Texas Rules of Civil Procedure
- Experience with Texas State and Federal eFiling
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Westlaw, PACER/ECF, EFile Texas, and Adobe Acrobat
- Trial preparation experience strongly preferred
- Experience with Trial Director and eDiscovery platforms preferred but not required
- Excellent legal research, organization, and time management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced litigation practice
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Stable work history with excellent tenure
