Job summary

Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for an experienced Litigation Paralegal for a sophisticated law firm. This role supports complex class action litigation through discovery, depositions, hearings, and trial, with a hybrid work environment offering one remote day per week and four days in-office.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of litigation paralegal experience
• Strong understanding of litigation procedures and federal filing requirements
• Hands-on e-discovery, document management and litigation tech experience
• Proven proofreading, editing and deadline-management skills
• Proactive, collaborative professional with strong judgment and discretion

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive litigation support through all phases of active matters
• Manage case files, deadlines, calendars, court dates, meetings and related information
• Prepare, format, proofread and finalize pleadings, motions, briefs and discovery materials
• Coordinate filing and service of legal documents in compliance with rules and deadlines
• Support discovery and document management processes including review and production
• Assist with deposition, hearing, mediation and trial preparation with exhibits and witness materials
• Conduct factual research and assist attorneys with litigation-related research
• Coordinate with attorneys and team to ensure progress of matters
• Independently manage multiple priorities with high accuracy and attention to detail
