Job summary

CGS is seeking an experienced Senior Litigation Paralegal to join a fast-moving, in-house government legal team in Boston, MA. This role supports eDiscovery, workflow management, and attorney services across the litigation portfolio.

You will prepare complex documents, review materials, and assist with trial preparation, including notebooks, exhibits, and subpoenas. Proficiency with Westlaw, LexisNexis, CM/ECF, and IPRO Eclipse is preferred.

Qualifications

• Paralegal certificate or JD with at least one year of ABA-accredited program study.
• At least two years of litigation paralegal experience; trial experience helpful.
• Experience with automated litigation support and federal/state court procedures.
• Strong research skills using LexisNexis and Westlaw; excellent written/oral communication.
• Proficient with document management, MS Office, and eDiscovery tools.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complex legal documents in standard formats.
• Review incoming documents and assess case status.
• Prepare indictments, warrants, subpoenas, orders, and memoranda.
• Gather case information from agencies and sources for filings.
• Ensure documents comply with local rules and formatting.
• Assist trial teams by organizing notebooks and exhibits.
• Coordinate with victim/witness specialists per guidelines.
• Notify staff of issues affecting cases.
• Use Westlaw/Lexis to verify citations.
• File documents electronically via CM/ECF and manage case files.
• Create tables of contents and lists of cited cases.
