Adams & Martin Group seeks an experienced Senior Litigation Paralegal in Clayton, MO to support attorneys from inception through trial in complex civil matters. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes extensive litigation procedures, document management, discovery, trial prep, and client communication, acting as a key member of the litigation team with advanced support responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Paralegal certificate or degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of litigation paralegal experience; 7+ years preferred.
• Experience in civil/business litigation and related areas.
• Strong knowledge of state/federal court procedures.
• Proficiency with MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, and litigation software.
• Experience with e-filing and document management systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and with attorneys.

Responsibilities

• Manage litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Draft, revise, and proofread pleadings, motions, discovery requests, subpoenas, and correspondence.
• Prepare and file documents in Missouri state courts, federal courts, and appellate courts.
• Coordinate and manage discovery including document collection and review.
• Organize and maintain electronic and physical case files.
• Monitor deadlines and maintain attorney calendars.
• Coordinate depositions, mediations, hearings, arbitrations, and trial schedules.
• Review and summarize medical, employment, and business records.
• Conduct factual investigations and legal research as directed.
• Prepare case chronologies, witness files, and trial notebooks.
• Assist with trial preparation, including exhibits and courtroom logistics.
• Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, courts, experts, and vendors.
• Support billing, reporting, and litigation cost tracking.
• Mentor junior paralegals and staff as needed.
