Christensen & Jensen, P.C. is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal / Legal Assistant to support employment law, insurance defense, and personal injury matters.

The role demands independent handling of day-to-day litigation workflows from opening through resolution, under attorney supervision. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in civil litigation, strong organizational skills, and proficiency with Word, Outlook, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat.

Qualifications

• At least five years of civil litigation experience as a paralegal, litigation legal assistant, or similar role.
• Ability to manage multiple matters with limited supervision.
• Familiarity with employment, insurance defense, and/or personal injury litigation.
• Experience filing electronically in Utah state and federal courts.
• Proficient with Word, Outlook; Excel and Adobe Acrobat.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned litigation files from opening through resolution, tracking deadlines and documents.
• Draft, revise, proofread, and format pleadings, motions, and discovery papers.
• File and serve documents in Utah state and federal courts.
• Handle discovery tasks: collect, organize records, Bates numbering, redactions.
• Prepare medical chronologies, billing summaries, and damages documentation.
• Coordinate with clients, insurers, experts, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
• Prepare deposition, hearing, and trial materials, including exhibits and witness files.
• Assist with case research, factual investigations, and status reports.
• Enter accurate time entries and follow billing guidelines.
