Job summary

Vernis & Bowling is seeking an experienced Paralegal for our Civil Litigation defense department in Florida. A minimum of 5 years of experience in General Liability is required.

You will manage litigation matters, perform public records reviews, prepare filings and documents, create summaries, and assist with mediation, depositions and trial preparation. Timekeeping and billing responsibilities are expected.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a paralegal.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Proficient in using Aderant Total Office.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in all work performed.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with legal terminology and procedures.
