Job summary

Farm Family in Omaha, NE seeks an experienced Litigation Manager to lead a team of seven claims specialists across construction defect, farm, ranch, and general liability exposures. The role reports to the Director of Litigation in New Jersey and is an on-site, full-time position.

You will oversee litigation strategy, budgeting for legal fees, ensure adherence to company guidelines, and drive performance metrics to achieve favorable financial outcomes while maintaining high standards of customer

Qualifications

Minimum of seven years' experience in complex coverage analysis and adjudication of litigated claims across multiple lines of business.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university required; two or more insurance designations or four additional years of related experience may substitute for the degree.

Responsibilities

Lead a team of seven claims specialists handling litigated claims across construction defect, farm, ranch, and general liability exposures.
Oversee litigation strategy, cost control and settlement decisions.
Budget for legal fees and monitor department performance against objectives.
Ensure timely responses to appeals, attorney letters, and Department of Insurance inquiries.
Maintain adherence to company guidelines and drive favorable financial outcomes.
