Job summary

Arnold & Porter’s Managing Attorney’s Office seeks two Senior Litigation Docket Clerks for its New York, LA or San Francisco offices. You will support docketing, e-filing, and administrative functions for the Managing Attorney, Managing Clerk, and department.

The role interfaces with attorneys and leadership, requiring professionalism, client service, and the ability to handle deadlines and multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Overtime may apply and a discretionary bonus is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum of three years of litigation experience in a law firm or corporate legal environment.
• Experience with docketing/calendaring systems preferred.
• Experience with electronic filing systems, including Federal CM/ECF.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows-based systems.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update the firm’s docketing system and record litigation filings.
• Provide e-filing support through PACER/CM/ECF and related systems.
• Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date litigation dockets.
• Provide administrative support to senior attorneys and office leadership.
• Prepare, proofread, and distribute departmental communications and reports.
• Create and maintain department-wide files and databases; data entry with accuracy.
• Process and track invoices for submission to Finance & Accounting.
• Assist in developing and maintaining departmental policies and procedures.
