Job summary

Atlas is seeking a Senior Litigation Counsel (Engineering / Construction) to join our Legal Team. Located in a hub office or remote location, you will manage litigation, advise on risks, and collaborate with internal and outside counsel to drive strategy.

You will handle complex cases in state and federal court, support HR-related issues, and contribute to a robust safety and compliance program while maintaining confidentiality and high professional standards.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of litigation experience with 3–5 years in engineering/construction.
• Experience advising on employment law is a plus.
• JD from an accredited law school and bar admission.
• Experience handling complex state/federal litigation.
• In-house and law firm experience preferred.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage complex litigation across engineering, construction, employment, and related areas.
• Coordinate with the Legal Department and company stakeholders.
• Manage outside counsel, budgets, and case strategy.
• Draft and negotiate pleadings, motions, and settlements.
• Conduct investigations, discovery, and regulatory matters.
• Advise on employment issues and HR policy development.
• Support OSHA and safety regulatory matters.
