Clipboard is seeking an experienced in-house Litigation Counsel to lead high-stakes matters, build internal processes, and advise across product, operations, and outside counsel. You will own unemployment response workstreams, subpoenas, and a docket of litigation matters, with opportunities for colleagues’ mentorship and professional growth.

Qualifications

• JD with at least 5 years of experience.
• Ability to own projects and work independently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Comfort with ambiguity and a lean team.
• Work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to tackle unfamiliar legal issues quickly.

Responsibilities

• Lead litigation workstreams including unemployment claims and disputes with marketplace users.
• Handle other litigation areas such as negligence and data privacy.
• Collaborate with internal and outside counsel on high-stakes matters.
• Develop and participate in the company’s eDiscovery strategy.
• Oversee third-party subpoena response processes.
• Provide cross-functional legal guidance to product and operations teams.
• Take on additional legal workstreams as needed.
