ZemiTek LLC, a Washington, DC area contractor, seeks Senior Contract Attorney - Litigation Support for the USAID Office of the General Counsel. The role requires deep federal litigation experience and collaboration with outside counsel to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities include preparing memoranda, discovery requests/responses, and communication with DoJ and internal offices. A JD and 8+ years of federal practice are required, with eligibility for a Public Trust clearance.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) admitted to the bar in good standing with federal practice experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides advanced level support to attorneys handling federal litigation throughout the life of a case.
• Reviews case materials and searches files to understand the questions.
• Conducts legal research and prepares opinions, briefs, and related documents.
• Reviews documents to extract data and information for cases.
• Drafts and edits non-legal memoranda and correspondence.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
