Job summary

Lorber, Greenfield & Olsen, LLP is seeking a Senior Associate Attorney in Chico, California to join our Northern California litigation team. You will handle substantive work from day one, with real responsibility and direct access to firm partners.

You will draft and argue motions, take and defend depositions, represent clients in trial, arbitration, and mediation, and provide strategic counsel to move the needle while maintaining strong client communication.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of civil litigation experience.
• Proven track record drafting and arguing motions.
• Confident navigating the California court system.
• Skilled in depositions and witness examinations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong analytical instincts and judgment.
• Ability to work independently and with a team.
• Active member of the California State Bar.
• Background in construction or casualty claims is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Draft and file motions, pleadings, and discovery with precision.
• Represent clients in trials, arbitrations, depositions, and mediations.
• Keep clients and their insurers informed throughout the process.
• Deliver sound legal advice grounded in litigation experience.
• Own the docket and meet day-to-day litigation tasks and billable targets.
