• Manage multiple cases, assignments, and deadlines simultaneously.
• Provide strategic legal counsel and sound judgment regarding case status and litigation strategy.
• Handle court appearances, motion hearings, depositions, mediations, and settlements, both in person and remotely.

SENIOR LITIGATION ATTORNEY

Location: Los Angeles, CA

Compensation: Up to $300,000 + Bonus

A fast-growing Personal Injury law firm in Los Angeles is seeking an experienced Senior Litigation Attorney to lead complex, high-value Personal Injury cases through all phases of litigation. This role is ideal for a highly motivated attorney with strong litigation and advocacy experience who can independently manage cases, develop effective legal strategies, and provide exceptional service to clients.

Key Responsibilities

Litigation & Case Management

• Lead Personal Injury cases through all phases of litigation, including discovery, motion practice, depositions, court appearances, mediation, settlement negotiations, and trial.
• Prepare and draft complaints, motions, responses, pleadings, and all phases of written discovery.
• Manage multiple cases, assignments, and deadlines simultaneously.
• Provide strategic legal counsel and sound judgment regarding case status and litigation strategy.
• Handle court appearances, motion hearings, depositions, mediations, and settlement negotiations both in person and remotely.
• Conduct expert depositions.

Legal Research & Advocacy

• Conduct thorough legal research and analyze statutes, case law, regulations, and legal developments.
• Develop case strategies and legal arguments based on research and applicable law.
• Advocate effectively for clients throughout the litigation process.
• Draft, format, and prepare motions, responses, and other pleadings with little or no supervision.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school required.
• 5+ years of Personal Injury law experience required.
• Active member in good standing with the California State Bar required.
• Demonstrated experience handling Personal Injury litigation through multiple phases of the litigation process.
• Experience taking expert depositions required.
• 2+ years of experience as a trial attorney preferred.
• Strong legal research, writing, advocacy, and analytical skills.
• Ability to independently manage multiple cases, assignments, and deadlines.
• Strong judgment and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
