Employee Relations Associates, Inc. seeks a Senior Litigation Attorney to establish and grow the Nevada practice. The role is remote from Nevada and focuses on first-party property insurance litigation and related complex civil matters.

The ideal candidate has substantial litigation experience, a Nevada Bar license, and the ability to develop referral relationships to lead market expansion in a new state.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Active Nevada Bar license in good standing.

• First-party property insurance experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage first-party property insurance and related litigation matters.
• Develop litigation strategy and independently handle matters through resolution.
• Conduct and defend depositions.
• Manage discovery, motion practice, mediation, arbitration, and trial preparation.
• Draft substantive pleadings, briefs, and motions.
• Represent clients in hearings, mediations, and trials.
• Assist firm leadership in establishing and growing a Nevada practice.
• Develop relationships with potential clients, referral partners, and industry professionals.
• Identify growth opportunities within the Nevada market.
• Help build future legal and operational infrastructure as the practice expands.

Position: Senior Litigation Attorney / Market Expansion

Location: Remote from Nevada

Duration: Fulltime/Permanent

Position Overview

Our client is exploring expansion into the Nevada market and is interested in identifying an experienced Senior Litigation Attorney who could help establish and grow the firm's presence in the state.

The ideal candidate will have significant first-party property insurance litigation experience or a highly transferable litigation background, along with strong connections to the Nevada legal or business community.

Because Nevada represents a potential new market for the firm, candidates who bring referral relationships, portable business, multiple licenses, leadership capabilities, or market-development experience will receive particularly strong consideration.
