Job summary

The Lemon Pros in California seeks a Senior Attorney/Litigator to take ownership of complex lemon law and consumer protection matters, managing a team of paralegals and collaborating with marketing and intake to grow the practice.

Ideal candidates have strong trial experience, the ability to manage cases end-to-end, negotiate settlements, and maintain the highest ethical standards in a growing consumer-focused firm.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school and active California State Bar membership.
• Minimum 5 years of litigation experience including discovery, depositions, motions and negotiations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to manage high-volume caseloads.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage an assigned caseload from litigation through resolution, taking primary responsibility for case strategy and legal work.
• Develop legal strategies to maximize favorable outcomes for clients.
• Handle written discovery, depositions, law and motion, mediations, settlement negotiations, and other key litigation activities.
• Provide legal counsel to clients throughout the litigation process.
• Negotiate settlements and advocate for clients through litigation and resolution.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of applicable state and federal laws, regulations, and relevant case law.
• Collaborate with marketing and client intake teams to assess potential cases and provide legal insight.
• Work with the firm’s teams to move matters toward resolution and ensure ethical standards.
