Job summary

The Hashemi Law Firm in Costa Mesa, CA is seeking a hands-on paralegal to support our California Lemon Law and Civil Litigation practice. You will own case development, discovery, client communication, and trial preparation while collaborating in a small, supportive team.

The ideal candidate has significant California civil litigation experience, is adept at managing discovery, drafting pleadings, and coordinating with clients and experts. Prior Lemon Law exposure is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Significant hands-on California civil litigation experience with the ability to independently manage litigation support functions.
• Prior California Lemon Law experience is strongly preferred.
• Litigation experience, including law and motion practice.
• Experience independently handling discovery and utilizing subpoenas.
• Strong knowledge of California civil procedure.
• Excellent writing, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases effectively.

We are a small California consumer litigation practice currently focused on augmenting our California Lemon Law and (Business) Civil Litigation practice areas.

This is a hands-on position for a self-starter who can take ownership of case development, litigation strategy, discovery, client communication, and trial preparation while working closely with a supportive, collaborative small-team environment.
