Jobot is seeking a tenacious Litigation Attorney to join our Worcester, MA on-site team. The role requires a JD, active MA bar, and 5+ years in litigation with trial experience, ideally in construction law.

You will handle complex cases from pre-trial to appeal and advise clients on risk and strategy. Responsibilities include drafting pleadings and briefs, conducting in-depth research, and negotiating settlements, with collaboration across legal support teams.

Qualifications

• JD required from an accredited law school.
• Licensed attorney in good standing with the state bar.
• Minimum of 5+ years in litigation with trial focus.
• Construction industry experience is highly desirable.
• Strong legal research and writing skills.
• Ability to manage complex litigation from start to finish.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in all stages of litigation, including pre-trial, trial, and appeal.
• Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis to support case preparation and strategy development.
• Draft and review pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery requests.
• Provide legal advice on litigation risks and strategies.
• Coordinate with legal support teams for efficient case management.
• Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients when appropriate.
• Stay updated with changes in laws related to construction and litigation.
