The ideal candidate will be licensed in Washington, with at least 5 years of experience and a JD from an accredited school, and will contribute to a collaborative team dedicated to high-quality legal service.

Qualifications

• Active member of the Washington State Bar.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in litigation.
• Excellent legal research and writing skills.
• Strong advocacy and negotiation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal representation and argue on behalf of clients.
• Draft legal documents such as wills, contracts, and briefs.
• Prepare briefs and file appeals in state and federal courts of appeal.
• Handle diverse caseload including Tort and Employment Litigation, School Law, Civil Rights, regulatory matters, discovery, depositions, motions and trial.
• Conduct legal research and analyze issues.
• Interpret laws and regulations for clients and businesses.
• Present evidence in civil or criminal litigation.
• Negotiate settlements of disputes.
• Supervise junior staff and paralegals.
