Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Investigate new claims and initiate timely contacts with clients, employees, claimants and counsel.
• Read and comprehend insurance policies.
• Evaluate liability and damages and address time-limits demands.
• Negotiate settlements with claimants and attorneys and draft contracts.
• Report to clients and carriers on claim status and actions taken.
• Refer claims to defense counsel and manage litigation to minimize expenses.
• Comply with MMSEA reporting and company policies.
