Job summary

Polar Semiconductor, LLC in Bloomington, Minnesota seeks a Process Engineer to support capacity expansion and process optimization in a cleanroom environment. You will develop and qualify ASML lithography processes, collaborate with engineering, and drive improvements through experiments and data analysis.

The role requires 5+ years in photolithography within semiconductor manufacturing, a relevant Bachelor's degree, and strong knowledge of SPC, Gage R&R, and Six-Sigma methodologies.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Optical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Physics or Chemistry or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in photolithography within semiconductor manufacturing environments.
• Capable of working in a cleanroom environment (fully gowned).
• Working knowledge of SPC, Gage R&R, and Six-Sigma methodology.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with lithography engineering to expand factory capacity through developing new processes and qualifying new equipment.
• Perform experiments, analyze results, and make recommendations to improve throughput and yield.
• Work with OEM (ASML) to integrate industry standard practices at Polar Semiconductor.
• Evaluate software and hardware upgrades to enhance equipment capability and reduce cost of ownership.
• Create standards for data analysis methods used in process development and for recipe creation/modification.
• Monitor and optimize APC systems to improve process control and yield.
