Job summary

First Tech Federal Credit Union in Hillsboro, OR seeks a senior liquidity risk analyst to lead complex balance sheet risk analyses, liquidity forecasting, and reporting for ALCO and board leadership.

You will design stress tests, manage funding relationships, and drive improvements in models, processes, and controls, ensuring regulatory readiness and strategic balance sheet decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or 4 additional years of related experience.
• 4–6 years of relevant liquidity, balance sheet, or risk experience.
• Deep understanding of balance sheet, liquidity, interest rate, and market risk.
• Ability to analyze complex problems and translate results into actionable solutions.
• Strong independent judgment and methodological proficiency.
• Proficiency with advanced modeling, analytics, or reporting tools.
• Excellent communication skills for translating complex concepts.

Responsibilities

• Own the daily cash position process and project end-of-day balances.
• Develop and improve liquidity forecasts across horizons.
• Design, execute, and interpret liquidity stress tests.
• Maintain and operationalize the Contingency Funding Plan (CFP).
• Oversee collateral across funding sources and report capacity.
• Manage brokered deposits, wholesale funding, and central bank relations.
• Execute wholesale funding transactions per plan and policy.
• Produce liquidity metrics and escalate risks near thresholds.
• Contribute to behavioral assumptions for non-maturity deposits and lines.
• Prepare liquidity reporting for ALCO and senior leadership.
