Job summary

ESFM seeks a Chief Building Engineer – Liquid Cooling for an on-site role at an Amazon facility in Florence, KY. You will lead IFM hard services and oversee critical infrastructure, ensuring safe, reliable operation of liquid cooling systems and building systems 24/7.

You will manage a team of engineers and technicians, drive uptime, and coordinate with vendors and client stakeholders to meet KPIs and compliance requirements.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years in facility engineering or mission-critical environments.
• EPA Section 608 Certification is required.
• Proven experience leading engineering teams or site operations.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, mechanical, electrical, and liquid cooling systems.
• Experience in data center or high-reliability environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead IFM hard services delivery across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and critical infrastructure systems.
• Manage and develop a team of engineers and technicians; assign roles and coverage.
• Act as site technical authority for liquid cooling: CDUs, pumps, heat exchangers, piping, controls.
• Oversee operation, maintenance, and optimization of cooling systems.
