Job summary

ESFM USA is seeking a Building Engineer - Liquid Cooling in Florence, KY to operate and maintain critical cooling systems in a data-center environment. You will monitor chilled water plants, pumps, and BAS/BMS controls, performing preventive and corrective maintenance and responding quickly to alarms.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in building engineering or related fields, with EPA 608 certification and hands-on experience with CHW systems, hydronic piping, and heat exchangers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in building engineering, HVAC, mechanical maintenance, or critical facility operations.
• EPA 608 Universal Certification required.
• Experience with chilled water systems, pumps, hydronic systems, heat exchangers, water flow, HVAC controls, and BAS/BMS systems.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot chilled water systems, pumps, valves, heat exchangers, hydronic piping, HVAC equipment, and controls.
• Perform routine rounds; monitor temperatures, pressures, flow rates, and BAS/BMS alarms.
• Diagnose mechanical issues; perform preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Respond to alarms and escalate complex issues as needed.
• Maintain operating logs, inspection records, and work orders.
• Support testing, startup/shutdown, and maintenance of cooling infrastructure.
