Job summary

ESFM is seeking a Building Engineer – Liquid Cooling in Florence, KY to operate, monitor and maintain critical mechanical and cooling systems in a mission‑critical environment. The role emphasizes hands‑on troubleshooting of chilled water systems, pumps, hydronic piping, and BAS/BMS controls.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in building engineering with liquid cooling experience and EPA 608 certification. This full‑time position offers multiple shifts and path to growth within ESFM.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of Building Engineer LC experience.
• Previous liquid cooling experience is required.
• Strong hands‑on experience with chilled water systems, pumps, hydronic systems, HVAC controls, and BAS/BMS platforms.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot chilled water systems, pumps, valves, heat exchangers, hydronic piping, HVAC equipment, and associated controls.
• Perform routine equipment rounds and monitor temperatures, pressures, flow rates, differential pressures, and BAS/BMS alarms.
• Diagnose mechanical system issues and perform preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Respond to system alarms, leaks, abnormal operating conditions, and equipment failures; escalate as needed.
• Maintain operating logs, inspection records, and preventive maintenance documentation.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors to verify completion and quality of work.
