Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Systems Engineer to support a classified DoD client in Chantilly, VA. You will design, develop, test, and maintain a private cloud service used by multiple classified tenants, ensure Linux-hosted applications run smoothly, and deploy new capabilities.

Candidates should have a TS Clearance with SCI Eligibility, a BS degree and 2+ years of related experience, and hands-on Linux, virtualization/cloud, and automation tools such as Python, Puppet, Ansible or Chef.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of related experience.
• Experience supporting Linux server environments.
• Experience supporting virtualized or cloud environments.
• Experience using Python or other tools (Puppet, Ansible, Chef) for automation.
• Knowledge of one of the following (OpenStack, OpenShift, Docker, Podman, Kubernetes, SELinux).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and maintain a private cloud service for multiple classified tenants.
• Ensure Linux-hosted applications run smoothly and reliably.
• Deploy new applications and support new functionality on the system.
• Support DoD client requirements and maintain system security posture.
