Job summary

Insight Global seeks a hands-on Systems Administrator to support Linux-based systems on cloud and on‑prem environments in Chantilly, VA. The role focuses on ownership, performance, and reliability while integrating automation and DevSecOps practices within a mission-focused team.

You will work with software, system, and cybersecurity engineers to apply RMF and security controls, and ensure compliance with DoD/NIST STIGs. This is an onsite full-time opportunity with active clearance required.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Poly required.
• Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Linux administration experience in physical and virtual environments.
• Automation and scripting experience (Bash, Python, Perl).
• Experience with RMF and cybersecurity concepts (DoD/NIST/STIG).
• DoD or IC customer experience preferred; on-site in Chantilly, VA.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and manage Linux-based infrastructure across physical/virtual environments.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, DevSecOps processes, and enterprise apps.
• Implement and maintain security controls; ensure compliance with DoD/NIST.
• Collaborate with software, system, and cybersecurity teams; support cloud and on‑prem environments.
