Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Networking, Telecommunications, or related technical field is required.
• RHCE or equivalent Linux certifications preferred.
• CompTIA Linux+ or LPIC-2 certification desired.
• VMware Certified Professional (VCP) or equivalent virtualization certification favorable.
• 5+ years of advanced Linux system administration experience in enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and support Linux servers across all projects managed by the Cloud Systems Engineering Team.
• Evaluate, propose, and build tooling to support and optimize operations in a KVM virtualization platform.
• Administer CloudStack and engineering tasks; participate in customer-facing Linux projects.
• Define, implement, and respond to internal Linux operational alerting; publish dashboards for capacity management.
• Lead cross-functional technical leadership and mentor junior engineers.
