Job summary

Xtremepush Limited is seeking a Senior Linux System Engineer to join our infrastructure team as we scale a high-availability platform used by enterprise clients worldwide. You will define and implement AWS/cloud best practices and contribute to secure, reliable operations.

This hybrid role requires collaborating with Operations, engaging with clients and vendors, and taking ownership of production, staging, and development environments through end-to-end improvements.

Qualifications

7+ years' experience in Linux system administration in production.
Scripting ability in Bash, Python, or PHP.
Solid understanding of the LEMP stack and networking.
Experience with cloud-based services and virtualization.
Experience configuring and securing mail servers (PowerMTA).

Responsibilities

Maintain and scale production infrastructure with Operations.
Install, monitor, and maintain hardware/software across environments.
Write scripts to automate jobs and processes.
Own security, stability, and uptime of all environments.
Respond to alerts and participate in on-call rotation.
Collaborate with clients and vendors to troubleshoot complex issues.
