Actionline, on behalf of our client in the Energy sector, is seeking a Mid-Senior Systems Engineer to join a dynamic team. The role focuses on managing, automating, and scaling enterprise Linux environments hosted on AWS and orchestrated with OpenShift or Kubernetes.

You will bridge cloud architecture with robust system administration, leveraging Terraform and Ansible. Strong Linux, AWS, and container experience are essential for success in this enterprise environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Systems Engineering or Cloud Operations.
• Proven track record configuring and managing production workloads in AWS.
• Advanced Linux administration with networking knowledge and scripting skills.
• Hands-on experience orchestrating containers with OpenShift or Kubernetes.
• Practical experience with infrastructure automation tools Terraform and Ansible.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain scalable, highly available AWS-based infrastructure.
• Manage production OpenShift or Kubernetes clusters in enterprise settings.
• Administer enterprise Linux operating systems for cloud performance.
• Drive IaC through provisioning and managing AWS resources with Terraform/Ansible.
• Monitor, log, and optimize cloud costs and security in partnership with teams.
