Job summary

RTX seeks a Sr. Linux System Administrator in Richardson, TX to support a classified Raytheon program. You will build, maintain, and secure IT systems, working with developers and engineers to resolve complex issues in a classified environment.

The role requires TS/SCI with CI poly security clearance, DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 certification, and 2+ years of relevant experience. On-site, occasional after-hours maintenance, travel, and lifting up to 35 pounds are part of the job.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
Active TS/SCI with CI polygraph; U.S. citizenship required.
Active DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 certification (Security+ CE, CCNA Security, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP, CySA+, CND).
Experience administering Red Hat Enterprise Linux systems with patching, LDAP, security hardening.
Installing, administering, and troubleshooting VMware ESXi/vCenter.

Responsibilities

Support Raytheon program in a classified environment as a Sr. Linux System Administrator.
Build, maintain, and secure IT systems; support mission-critical capabilities.
Collaborate with developers and system engineers to resolve issues.
On-call support and occasional after-hours maintenance; lift up to 35 pounds.
Occasional travel for installation support.
Role is onsite.
