NLR’s Computational Science Center in Golden, CO is seeking a Storage Engineer III to install, configure, and support storage products and services for data-intensive computing. The role focuses on object storage, block storage, distributed file systems, and cloud storage, with emphasis on high throughput and scalable data pipelines.

You will determine optimal hardware and software configurations, stay current with new storage technologies, and collaborate with researchers and operations teams

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with 5+ years storage experience.
Master's degree with 3+ years storage experience.
PhD or equivalent storage experience.

Responsibilities

Install, configure, and support storage products and services for data-intensive computing.
Determine optimal hardware and software configurations for storage systems.
Stay abreast of new storage technologies and techniques for storage services.
