Job summary

RAPIDFORT is looking for a Senior OS Engineer to design and maintain secure Linux-based operating systems. This hands-on role involves CVE remediation, container image hardening, and collaboration across teams to ensure secure OS baselines.

With a compensation range of $150,000 – $200,000, you will also enjoy benefits including health, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and equity participation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Linux systems engineering or related fields.
• Deep expertise in Linux operating systems and distributions.
• Strong experience with OS package management systems.
• Hands-on experience in patching and rebuilding OS packages.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end CVE remediation across Linux OS packages.
• Build and maintain secure, production-ready container images.
• Generate and maintain SBOMs for OS packages.
• Design and scale automated pipelines for OS patching.
