Job summary

A cybersecurity and physical security firm is seeking a Senior Linux Infrastructure & Security Automation Engineer to enhance and automate systems critical to national security. The ideal candidate will have strong Linux proficiency, hands-on experience with automation tools, and significant security expertise. Responsibilities include enhancing automation capabilities, implementing security measures, and overseeing security processes. This full-time position offers a salary range of $150K - $200K, along with robust benefits including health insurance and profit sharing.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency with Linux and Linux-native tooling.
• Hands-on experience with automation technologies including Ansible, SaltStack, Puppet, Chef, Terraform.
• Ability to follow project-specific Ansible coding standards.
• Familiarity with full SDLC practices using Git/GitLab for version control.
• Strong security expertise at both design and implementation levels.

Responsibilities

• Sustain and enhance STE/STN automation and monitoring capabilities.
• Implement frontend hardening across systems.
• Build and maintain utility frontdoor and courier containers.
• Drive container security initiatives.
• Support LatteArt IAVM, PO&AM, and related security processes.
• Lead RBAC and CMS product creation, including mapping roles to permission sets.
• Conduct general solution security oversight, including background hardening.
• Perform security reviews and audits for internal and partner team products.
