Job summary

Referment is seeking a Senior Linux Infrastructure Engineer for its Platform Engineering team. This hands-on role focuses on operating-system and infrastructure services across on-premises and cloud environments to deliver reliable, massive-scale systems.

You will work with global colleagues to design, troubleshoot kernel-level issues, implement Kubernetes and GitOps workflows, and harden security across tens of thousands of nodes. This position emphasizes hands-on delivery over management.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in infrastructure engineering focusing on design and architecture.
• Deep Linux engineering and kernel-level expertise with CLI mastery.
• Expertise in modern automation and platform tools (Kubernetes, GitOps).
• Experience in large-scale, high-performance environments and cross-location collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design, integrate and maintain OS and infra services with deep Linux focus.
• Contribute to global networks, core services and security across on-prem and cloud.
• Improve security framework for massive-scale production platform.
• Implement platform engineering practices including Kubernetes, GitOps, and automation.
• Diagnose complex host and network issues using tracing and diagnostics.
• Collaborate with global engineering and partner departments.
