NVIDIA Corporation in Santa Clara is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Chip System Software team. You will build and maintain the Linux software platform powering AI-RAN and SD-RAN products, integrating software into Ubuntu and RHEL, and managing release processes.

You will collaborate with Canonical, Red Hat, silicon vendors, and internal teams to enable new platform capabilities. You will work across the stack, from Linux distribution integration to kernel and BSP validation,

Formación

• 12+ years of experience developing Linux system software or platform software.
• Strong understanding of Linux operating systems, kernel architecture, and system internals.
• Experience with Linux package management (Debian/Ubuntu and/or RPM), software integration, and release engineering.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and software build systems.
• Experience debugging Linux kernel, boot, driver, or platform-related issues.

Responsabilidades

• Build and maintain customer-ready Linux distributions, installation images (ISO), and software packages.
• Integrate NVIDIA software, drivers, and third-party components into Canonical Ubuntu and RHEL platforms.
• Develop and maintain build automation, CI/CD pipelines, and software release processes.
• Configure, integrate, and validate Linux kernels and BSPs for commercial SoC platforms.
• Troubleshoot and resolve Linux platform, kernel, driver, and software integration issues.
• Collaborate with Canonical, Red Hat, silicon vendors, and internal engineering teams to enable new platform capabilities.

Educación

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science / Computer Engineering / Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
