Job summary

Quevera is seeking a Senior Linux & Kubernetes Engineer with an active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph to support production Linux VMs and Kubernetes clusters across OpenStack, VMware, and AWS in Laurel, Maryland.

The role focuses on VM management, Kubernetes cluster health, automation with Ansible, and certificate lifecycle management, with security compliance including STIG/SSP. Strong Linux skills and container orchestration experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with Linux system administration at scale (RHEL 8/9).
• Hands-on with Kubernetes clusters and containerized workloads.
• Experience managing VMs across OpenStack, VMware, and AWS.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage production Linux VMs and Kubernetes clusters across hosting platforms.
• Administer and secure RHEL 8/9 VMs on OpenStack, VMware, and AWS.
• Manage server certificate lifecycle and patching; ensure security compliance and STIG/SSP.
