Job summary

Quevera is seeking a Linux Systems Administrator with an active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph to support mission-critical programs in Fort Meade, Maryland. You will administer Linux VMs across OpenStack, AWS, and VMware, and work with Kubernetes, Ansible, and PKI to ensure secure, reliable infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph required and must be valid.
• Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting experience.
• Experience with Ansible or infrastructure automation.
• Experience managing and securing VMs in enterprise environments.
• Splunk certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Linux VMs across OpenStack, AWS, and VMware.
• Monitor health and performance of production Linux VMs and Kubernetes environments.
• Manage certificate lifecycle and support PKI implementations.
• Install, update and maintain software on Linux VMs via YUM and manual methods.
• Ensure systems comply with enterprise security requirements.
• Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks for automation.
• Monitor Kubernetes clusters using Rancher and kubectl.
• Collaborate with customers and development teams on infra needs.
• Troubleshoot Linux systems and infrastructure issues to keep services available.
