Job summary

Xcelerate Solutions in Bethesda, MD is seeking a highly skilled GPU Engineer (TS/SCI) to design, develop, and optimize GPU architectures for Linux-based systems. You will collaborate with OS teams to ensure seamless GPU integration, optimize drivers, and develop CUDA/OpenCL applications for HPC and ML workloads.

We require 10+ years of systems engineering experience, a relevant bachelor’s degree, and DoD-level security clearance readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in computer science, electrical engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of relevant systems engineering experience.
• Proven GPU architecture design and performance optimization experience.
• Expertise in OS integration for Linux and hardware interaction.

Responsibilities

• Define, develop, and optimize GPU architectures for Linux-based systems.
• Collaborate with OS developers to ensure smooth GPU integration and driver optimization.
• Design and develop GPU hardware interaction and tooling, including debugging utilities.
• Develop CUDA/OpenCL applications and optimize for parallel computing on Linux.
• Analyze performance, identify bottlenecks, and improve GPU efficiency.
• Stay updated on GPU industry trends and Linux-specific approaches.
