Job summary

Xcelerate Solutions in Bethesda, MD is seeking a Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) Engineer with TS/SCI clearance. You will design, develop, and optimize GPUs for Linux platforms, collaborating across OS, hardware, and software teams to ensure high performance and power efficiency.

Responsibilities include CUDA/OpenCL development, GPU driver optimization, and toolchain development on Linux, with a focus on integration, testing, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher degree in CS/EE or related field.
• 10+ years of relevant systems engineering experience.
• Proven GPU architecture design and performance optimization experience.
• Expertise in Linux OS integration for GPU work.
• Strong hardware knowledge for Linux systems.
• Knowledge of parallel computing, graphics algorithms, and real-time rendering in Linux.
• Familiarity with GPU debugging tools and profiling software for Linux.
• Proficiency with scripting languages (Python, Bash).
• Proficiency with automation tools (Ansible, Puppet, Salt, Terraform).
• IAT Level II/III DoD certification or equivalent security credentials.

Responsibilities

• Define, develop, and optimize GPU architectures and integrations for Linux.
• Collaborate with OS developers to ensure Linux compatibility and performance.
• Develop CUDA/OpenCL applications, kernels, and tooling on Linux.
• Analyze GPU performance and optimize across hardware/software.
• Create and maintain GPU debugging and profiling tools for Linux.
• Address power efficiency and hardware interaction with software components.
• Design tests to validate GPU performance and functionality on Linux.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and stay updated on GPU industry trends.
• Stay informed about Linux-specific approaches to GPU design and optimization.
