Job summary

CA CI International Inc. is seeking a Senior Linux Engineer to design, deploy, and manage enterprise Linux environments within the EITaaS program for the Dept. of the Air Force. The role emphasizes security, automation, and scalable infrastructure, with hybrid onsite work in Chantilly, VA.

You will lead architecture decisions, implement patches, and mentor teammates while collaborating across IT groups to deliver reliable services for a global workforce.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship required.
• Active DoD Secret clearance.
• 12+ years of relevant experience (Bachelor’s degree may substitute for 5 years).
• Security+ CE or IAT Level II/III certification preferred; RHCE or LPIC-3 or equivalent.
• Experience with SE Linux/CentOS; AlmaLinux/Rocky Linux a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage complex Linux-based systems and infrastructure.
• Develop automation scripts and tools to streamline operations.
• Perform system backups, recovery, and maintenance tasks.
