Job summary

DRW is actively seeking a Senior Linux Engineer to join the Linux Engineering Team. The role focuses on building a highly performant, scalable, and stable Linux infrastructure to support trading desks, developers, and internal users.

You will collaborate with a global team, automate tasks, and contribute to the deployment and maintenance of DRW’s Linux environments, ensuring reliability and low-latency performance in a demanding environment.

Qualifications

Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
Scripting and automation experience (Bash, Python, or similar).
Extensive Linux support in large-scale, HA environments.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with a global Linux Engineering team on projects, changes, and on-call schedules.
Serve as liaison between the Linux Engineering team and trading desks/teams.
Configure, deploy, and maintain DRW's Linux environments declaratively and repeatedly.
Monitor health of the Linux server ecosystem and perform daily troubleshooting.
Package applications and maintain software repositories.
Automate repetitive system administration tasks.
Evaluate and recommend new hardware and software technologies.
