Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• 8+ years of software development experience.
• Embedded Linux development including Linux configuration, Yocto/BitBake, kernel and driver development, device trees, U-Boot, and SWUpdate.
• Strong proficiency in C#, .NET, and object-oriented design; experience with C/C++ and Git.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance if required.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications and embedded systems throughout the SDLC.
• Develop software solutions for instrument control, data processing, and analytical algorithms.
• Implement user interfaces, data analysis capabilities, and instrument troubleshooting.
• Support new product development and sustain existing products through debugging and enhancements.
• Collaborate with engineering, science, project management, and manufacturing teams to deliver high‑quality solutions.
• Participate in design and code reviews and in continuous improvement initiatives.
